Tillandsia Cyanea Care & Information
Add a touch of the exotic to your indoor sanctuary with the Tillandsia Cyanea, commonly known as the Pink Quill. This fascinating plant is a member of the Bromeliad family and is prized for its large, paddle-shaped pink flower spike (bract) that lasts for months. From this vibrant quill, delicate violet-blue flowers will emerge one by one, creating a stunning contrast.
Uniquely versatile, the Pink Quill is technically an epiphyte (air plant), meaning in nature it grows on trees. While we sell it potted to help maintain moisture around its roots, it draws much of its water and nutrients through its grassy foliage. It loves humidity and bright, indirect light to keep that pink colour vivid.
