Keep soil lightly moist during spring and summer, but let it dry out a bit more in winter. If the tips turn brown, it might be sensitive to the fluoride in tap water—try filtered water!

The Spider Plant is the "gift that keeps on giving." It shoots out long stems with baby plants (spiderettes) attached. You can snip these off and pot them to grow entirely new plants for free!
